Nature's Land wholegrain rye bread is made from unmilled rye grains to preserve all their essential nutrients, such as fiber, protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It is undoubtedly a healthier food compared to other types of rye bread you are accustomed to seeing in grocery stores.
To make Natureland Rye Bread, we grind whole rye grains into coarse flour, preserving all their natural benefits. Only whole grains can help us maintain our health and well-being. We stand out by doing something even better: unlike other rye breads, our product is fermented as a sourdough starter during the kneading and mixing processes. Scientifically, fermentation helps release vital nutrients and makes them more bioavailable to the body (meaning their nutritional value is significantly higher than before fermentation). It also causes considerably less inflammation in the intestines of people with wheat or gluten allergies.
We select only rye grains grown as traditional varieties, rather than hybrids, cultivated over generations (if not millennia) for their superior flavor and nutritional value, rather than focusing on commercial profitability such as growth rate, shipping ease, and shelf life. To minimize our environmental impact, our grains are grown and sourced locally (never shipped long distances to our facilities), and we support small farmers and producers who prioritize sustainable, soil-friendly crops.
